Finding the balance between centralization and decentralization

Now that you have a clearer view of the importance of streamlining processes! it’s time to tackle the root of the problem. One of the main causes of bureaucracy is excessive centralization.

The best example is the practice of so-call “micromanagement”! that is! a form of management in which the manager closely monitors each stage of the work of all employees! exercising strong control. For example! all steps of a certain process ne to be evaluat and approv by the manager.

Micromanagement does not add any

Significant value and only slows down the flow of work. Therefore! to ruce bureaucracy! it must be replac by intelligent delegation practices that offer autonomy to the employee.

Another good example is the centralization of a given process in the hands telegram data of a single employee! who is the only one who knows how to execute it. Therefore! every time this employee is absent or busy with another activity! the process comes to a standstill! as no one else can move it forward.

In this case! the best solution is to ensure that several (or all) employees know how to perform different processes. While one or two are responsible! any other can take over when necessary.

However be careful not to overdo

Decentralization! turning the workflow into a “no man’s land”. It is important to maintain reference figures for the role of the editor each process. They will be responsible for ensuring that the results are achiev. Otherwise! with too many people interfering chine directory randomly! Finding the balance between  there may be a lack of standardization! which is not good for quality.
